Where do I clip the “Pit” probe?

You can clip your pit probe to the cooking grate, the dial thermometer or the bend in your meat probe if you use one. Keep in mind, the temperature will vary between different levels on any smoker or grill. We suggest you place the probe close to the food you are cooking but do not let the probe touch the food. (This could cool the probe and give false readings).
